Council of Ministers reviewed the position of the swine flu

Council reviewed the cabinet in its meeting today, Wednesday, led by Dr.. Ahmed Nazif, a detailed report on the situation of the global disease of swine flu in the Middle East.
The Board also reviewed the position of the disease in Egypt until Dec. 14, with a total number of cases 5296 case, and the death toll reached 64 cases (2,1%).
A spokesman from the Minister, Dr.. Magdy Rady said he confirmed cases for the disease from school and university students, since the total number of cases positive until yesterday evening, Tuesday, 1941 cases, 1440 have recovered if there is 501 cases under treatment and in stable condition.
Radi added that the report to ensure that the number of confirmed cases in the universities reached 373 cases, 139 school has been opened of the total 209 schools pending the study and the remaining 70 schools suspended temporarily by the study and open, respectively .. Radi stressed that the Council is following the SARS situation on an ongoing basis and with complete transparency, pointed out the validity of a claim to stop the World Health Organization study in Egypt and at the same time stressing that if necessary, the government would take a decision in the public interest.
