قررت مديرية التربية والتعليم بالغربية غلق فصل عدى بن ثابت بمدرسة الجيل المسلم بشارع الجلاء بطنطا لمدة أسبوعين، ومنح التلاميذ إجازة بعد ثبوت ايجابية حالة طالب بالصف الثانى الإعدادى وإصابته بمرض أنفلونزا الخنازير جاءت نتيجة العينات الخاصة به إيجابية حالته وإصابته بمرض أنفلونزا الخنازير.
حيث توجه أول أمس الطالب إلى مستشفى صدر طنطا بعد ارتفاع درجة حرارته بشدة، ولكنه رفض المبيت بالمستشفى وتم أخذ مسحة حلق منه وإرسالها للمعامل المركزية الخاصة بوزارة الصحة لبيان مدى إصابته بالمرض من عدمه وجاءت نتيجة العينات الخاصة به إيجابية، وتؤكد إصابته بمرض أنفلونزا الخنازير، على الفور تم احتجازه بمستشفى صدر طنطا وعزلة بالأماكن المخصصة لذلك وإعطاؤه عقار التاميفلو ووضع كل المخالطين له تحت المراقبة الطبية المستمرة وأخذ عينات ومسحات حلق لبيان مدى إصابتهم بالمرض من عدمه.
من ناحية أخرى تم أخذ مسحات من أكثر من 10% من طلاب فصل الطالب المصاب وإجراء الكشف الطبى على العديد من طلاب المدرسة لبيان مدى إصابتهم او انتقال العدوى إليهم من عدمه.
صرح بذلك الدكتور شريف حمودة وكيل وزارة الصحة بالغربية.

On the other hand swabs were taken from more than 10% of the students separate the infected student and a medical examination of the many students from the school to show the extent of injury or infection to them or not.
This was stated by Dr. Sharif Hammouda Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health Gharbia.
