احتجزت مستشفيات محافظة الدقهلية عددا من الأشخاص المشتبه فى إصابتهم بفيروس الأنفلونزا المستجدة "أنفلونزا الخنازير N1H1 " وأكدت المعامل المركزية لوزارة الصحة إصابة 4 حالات جديدة بالمرض من بين المحتجزين فى مستشفيات الحميات بالمنصورة وطلخا وميت غمر، كما اشتبه مستشفى المنصورة الدولى حالتين فى حالة سيئة.
