We have 3 cases listed for Menoufia but all these are before the earliest onset date listed in above FAO report,


1 in Qena (Qina) - a match:

28) Egypt - Female, 13, announced February 3, 2015, Qena


2 in Sharkia - FAO potentially missing 2 cases out of a batch announced by Sharkia MoH on Feb 5:

29-32) Egypt - On 5/2/15 Shargia health official announced a total of 6 cases/1 death to date in 2015, which is a net gain of 4 cases. Sharqia 1 Death


1 in Sohag - a match

34) Egypt - Male, 44, hospitalized, Sohag


1 in Suez - a new case - will add to list




Total of 6 cases not previously known (new) within the onset dates listed in above FAO report.

A WHO clarification would be greatly appreciated!
