شهدت محافظة الغربية، وفاة حالتين جديدتين مصابتين بمرض أنفلونزا الخنازير لشابين فى العقد الثالث من العمر داخل مستشفتى صدر طنطا والمنشاوى العام، نتيجة تدهور حالتهما الصحية بعد دخولهما إلى غرفة العناية المركزة ووفاتهما. صرح بذلك الدكتور شريف حمودة، وكيل وزارة الصحة بالغربية، حيث أكد وفاة كل من "محمد حلمى شحاتة" (22 سنة) مقيم بقرية فيشا سليم مركز طنطا بعد ثبوت إيجابية حالته بمرض أنفلونزا الخنازير وذلك داخل مستشفى صدر طنطا. This was stated by Dr. Sharif Hammouda Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health Gharbia, where he confirmed the death of each of the "Shehata Mohamed Helmi" (22 years) resident in the village of Tanta Fiche properly after testing positive status of swine flu and the inside of a hospital in Tanta.
كما توفى "عمرو عبد القوى" (25 سنة) مقيم بقرية دلبشان مركز كفر الزيات داخل مستشفى المنشاوى العام. Also died, "Amr Abdel Kawi" (25 years) resident in the village of Kafr El-Zayat Dlepeshan within the hospital explained the year.
وأفاد وكيل وزارة الصحة بإيجابية إصابة 12 حالة أخرى بمرض أنفلونزا الخنازير داخل مستشفيات المحافظة، مؤكدا أنه تم عزلهم بالأماكن المخصصة لذلك، وإعطاؤهم عقار التاميفلو، ووضع جميع المخالطين لهم تحت المتابعة الطبية المستمرة والتنبيه عليهم بالتوجه لأقرب مستشفى حميات أو صدر فى حالة ظهور أى أعراض مشابهة لأعراض المرض عليهم.
