The government recognizes: the financial and human resources allocated to the fight against avian influenza is not sufficient

واعترف سماحة بأن امكانيات هيئة الخدمات البيطرية الحالية لا تكفي لتغطية 30 من المناطق المستهدفة

The minister said that the disbursement of compensation to eligible owners of poultry farms had been stopped because of the lack of resources of the Compensation Fund. وأن بنك التنمية والائتمان الزراعي تمكن من تدبير موارد جديدة للصندوق وسيتم تخصيصها للمربين بعد حصرهم بجداول تكرارية تحدد الشرائح الأكثر استحقاقا لهذه التعويضات حسب قيمتها بحيث سيصرف لكل منهم جزء من التعويضات حتى يستفيد بها أكبر عدد من أصحاب مزارع الدواجن بحيث يحصل صغار المربين على تعويضات أعلي من كبار المربين وذلك لحين توافر موارد جديدة للصندوق.

وفي سياق متصل كشف الدكتور صابر عبدالعزيز مدير الادارة المركزية للدواجن بالهيئة العامة للخدمات البيطرية امتناع أصحاب المزارع عن الابلاغ عن الاصابات بالمرض في مزارعهم تجنبًا للخسائر التي يمكن أن يتعرضوا لها إذا ما ثبت ايجابية المرض وتم اعدام الدواجن دون اقرار الحكومة لتعويضهم

وطالب صابر بدفع تعويض مناسب لأصحاب المزارع التي يثبت فيها المرض حتي تشجعهم علي الابلاغ في حالة وجود اصابات وأكد مصدر مسئول بالهيئة العامة للخدمات البيطرية عدم جدوي التحصين بمصل H5N1 في ظل هذه الظروف وقال إن الفترة الماضية تؤكد ضعف الجدوي من عمليات التحصين
