قرر مجدى قبيصى محافظ البحر الأحمر إغلاق فصل دراسى بمعهد الغردقة الأزهرى للفتيات بعد إصابة إحدى الطالبات بمرض أنفلونزا الخنازير، وإغلاق مدرسة الصنايع بالغردقة لإصابة إحدى الطالبات.
وصرح الدكتور أحمد على مبروك مدير عام الصحة بالمحافظة بأن عدد المصابين من التلاميذ بلغ حتى الآن 4 حالات، وذلك بعد إصابة طالب بالمعهد الدينى بالغردقة، وطالبة من كلية التجارة المتقدمة.
وقال مبروك إن قرار المحافظ شمل الغلق لمدة 15 يوما مع تطهير الفصول التى ظهرت بها الحالات وتسجيل بيانات وعناوين التلاميذ بالفصول وذلك لمتابعتهم بالمنازل، واستمرار عمليات الفحص للحالات، وتكثيف حملات التوعية فى المدارس والتنسيق مع مديرية التربية والتعليم والمنطقة الأزهرية لتوعية الطلاب.
