حذرت وزارة الصحة والسكان من عوامل نقل عدوي مرض الدرن وأهمها الميكروب المتطاير من رذاذ المريض في حالة العطس أو الكلام أو البصق علي الأرض حيث إن هذا يؤدي إلي انتشار الجراثيم في الهواء خاصة في الأماكن المغلقة مما قد يتسبب في إصابة أكثر من شخص بالإضافة إلي اللبن غير المبستر والمأكولات والمشروبات التي تحمل ميكروب الدرن.
