أعلن الدكتور أحمد فؤاد، مدير مديرية الطب البيطرى بالمنوفية، عن ظهور 92 بؤرة إيجابية جديدة لمرض أنفلونزا الطيور بمراكز أشمون وشبين الكوم والشهداء وبركة السبع ومنوف والباجور. Dr Ahmed Fuad, the director of the Directorate of Veterinary Medicine Menoufia, 92 focus on the emergence of a new, positive for bird flu centers Ashmun and Shebin, the martyrs and the seven pools and Menouf and Bagour.
وقد أشار فؤاد إلى أن تلك البؤر تم اكتشافها عن طريق الاختبارات الحقلية التي تقوم بها المديرية، وجميعها تربية منزلية وتم إعدام الطيور المصابة وتحصين الطيور المجاورة لها، لمنع انتشار المرض. Fouad has pointed out that these outposts have been discovered through field tests carried out by the Directorate, all domestic breeding and the execution of infected birds and vaccinated birds nearby, to prevent the spread of the disease.
من جانبه أكد المهندس سامي عمارة، محافظ المنوفية، ضرورة إتخاذ مزيد من الإجراءات المشددة لمنع تداول الطيور الحية, وعدم التراخى في إجراءات المواجهة، خاصة مع بداية موسم نشاط الفيروس مشددا على قيام رؤساء الوحدات المحلية بمسئولياتهم لمواجهة التربية المنزلية التي تعد المصدر الرئيسى للإصابة بالمرض بين المواطنين. For his part, Engineer Sami Amara, Governor of Menoufia, the need to take more severe measures to prevent the circulation of live birds, and no-nonsense approach in the proceedings of the confrontation, especially with the onset of activity of the virus, stressing that the heads of local units of their responsibilities to meet the education at home, which is the main source of infection between citizens.
