أعلن الدكتور محمد مصطفى، مدير عام الطب البيطري بالمنيا، عن اكتشاف 4 بؤر مصابة بمرض إنفلونزا الطيور بالمنيا، منها بؤرة بقرية الصليبة بمركز سمالوط، وأخرى بقرية الحسايبة بمركز ديرمواس، وبؤرتان بقرية الحوارتة بمركز المنيا. سادت حالة من الذعر في قرى ومراكز محافظة المنيا؛ بعد الإعلان عن اكتشاف 4 بؤر مصابة بإنفلونزا الطيور بقرى الحسايبة بمركز ديرمواس، والصليبية بمركز سمالوط، والحوارتة بمركز المنيا؛ مما دفع غالبية الأسر إلى الإسراع في ذبح ما لديها من طيور خوفًا من المرض.
