أنفلونزا الطيور Bird flu أعلن الدكتور أحمد ضياء الدين محافظ المنيا اليوم الأحد عن اكتشاف 6 بؤر جديدة مصابة بأنفلونزا الطيور بالمنيا، بواقع بؤرتين في كل من مراكز سمالوط، والمنيا، ودير مواس. وشدد المحافظ على رؤساء الوحدات المحلية ومديري إدارات الصحة والطب البيطري والزراعة والبيئة بتكثيف الجهود لضبط ومراقبة الأسواق ومنع تداول الطيور الحية بأي شكل من الأشكال، وتوقيع العقوبات الفورية على المخالفين مع تنظيم زيارات للمزارع وأخذ عينات من الطيور للتأكد من سلامتها، وغلق المزارع غير المرخصة، مشيرا إلى أن من يثبت تقصيره في تنفيذ قرارات اللجنة العليا لأنفلونزا الطيور والخنازير سيتم إعفاؤه من منصبه فورا. The governor stressed on the heads of local units and managers of health departments and veterinary medicine, agriculture and environment to intensify efforts to control and monitor markets and prevent the sale of live birds in any way, to sanction immediate conflict with the organization of visits to farms and to take samples from birds to make sure of their integrity, and the closure of farms is licensed, he to prove that its failure to implement the decisions of the Supreme Committee for Avian and swine will be relieved from his post immediately.
كما كلف المحافظ وكيل وزارة الصحة بالتنسيق مع مدير عام الطب البيطري بضرورة إجراء الكشف الطبي فور ظهور أي بؤر جديد للمخالطين للطيور، واتخاذ كافة الإجراءات الصحية المتبعة في هذا الشأن مع تقديم تقرير تفصيلي يومي عن كافة البؤر التي يتم اكتشافها وحالة المخالطين لها بعد إجراء الفحوصات والتحاليل اللازمة. وأضاف وكيل وزارة الصحة في تقريره عن الموقف الحالي لمرض أنفلونزا الخنازير منذ بدء فصل الشتاء وحتى الآن أن عدد الحالات الايجابية التي تم اكتشافها بالمنيا بلغت 48 حالة منها 4 حالات وفاة، وتم شفاء باقي الحالات، مشيرا إلى أن من بين الحالات الإيجابية 4 طلاب بالمدارس و2 بالجامعة، ولم تظهر أي حالة إصابة بمرض أنفلونزا الطيور منذ بداية العام الماضي وحتى الآن.
