قرر د.حازم القويضى محافظ حلوان إغلاق مدرسة مصر 2000 بمنطقة القاهرة الجديدة، بعد ظهور حالة جديدة بهذه المدرسة مصابة بفيروس أنفلونزا الخنازير، ليصل عدد المصابين بالمدرسة إلى 10 حالات.
يذكر أن الطالب على محمود المصاب بالفيروس تم نقله إلى مستشفى اليوم الواحد، وسيتم المتابعة من قبل مديرية الصحة بحلوان للحالة، خاصة وأنه تم شفاء بعض الحالات المصابة بالمرض، وجارى علاج باقى المصابين، وأسماؤهم: فريدة أحمد محمد، على أحمد محمود، أحمد حاتم محمد، فادى سامح ويليام، محمد أحمد عزيز، مصطفى حمدى مصطفى، رامى حازم على، مينا أسامة فؤاد، كريم سامح ثروت وعلى محمد محمود.
