Common Dengue increases 101% in El Salvador

San Salvador -. Cases of dengue and dengue hemorrhagic common have increased by 101% and 56%, respectively, this year in El Salvador to 2013, reported the Deputy Minister of Health , Eduardo Espinoza.

Salvadoran health authorities reported Thursday that two children aged five andnine died of dengue while still increasing cases of Chikungunya fever.

The government announced new prevention campaigns around the country to try to eradicate the mosquito that transmits the disease.
