Mablethorpe Primary Academy has cancelled productions and activities this term after being informed of two cases of tuberculosis (TB) involving pupils - although the Academy has been advised that normal school activities do not need to be disrupted.

... The decision was made after two pupils at Mablethorpe Primary Academy contracted the serious infection. More than 20 students have since been screened for tuberculosis at the school.
A total of 23 children were screened with an additional three pupils said to have "latent" variants of the illness - meaning they are unable to pass it on to anyone else...
