Pandemic influenza A-H1N1 has reached its lowest level of infection since the health alert was given in April 2009. In the last week only two cases were confirmed and it was a total of 4.274 patients, whereas the previous week was reported only one case.
Against this background was not conducted a special operation targeting information for strollers or sanitary filters were placed as in previous holiday periods "because the epidemiological situation warrants it," the director general of Public Health of the Jalisco Health Secretariat ( SJS), Mario Marquez Jose Amezcua.
He said that to date 2.059 patients requiring hospitalization and 54 people were hospitalized yesterday with suspected disease. However, no new deaths have been reported and remains the official figure of 94 deaths. With regard to vaccination, reported that 922 thousand were applied biological dose of influenza A-H1N1, and recalled that the goal is to apply one million 395 thousand vaccine Jalisco territory, so it will continue with their implementation, even this holiday period.
