Former union leader said that a nurse died of influenza in the IMSS

The unique union of the City of Veracruz, Rosa Maria Jacome Hernandez said that a nurse working at the IMSS died a week and a half victim of H1N1 influenza.
The mayor was until 2009 the only union leader of workers in the health sector. In an interview in the hoisting of flag at the base of the city asserted that one of his companions died with all the symptoms of the disease.
He noted that the intention is not to alarm because it was an isolated case, but must maintain appropriate hygiene measures to prevent infections and deaths. He recalled that simple habits such as washing hands constantly help prevent disease.
For its part Ram?n Pe?a Jaramillo, leader of the ninth section of the national union of workers of IMSS, the mayor denied making sure that at least in hospitals in the city has not submitted any such death.
When questioned, another event in a hotel in the city of Veracruz, on influenza infections of H1N1, said he had no reports of infected personnel but acknowledged that there is always risk.
"Problems and deaths unless we are talking about Northern Veracruz, no. The clear risk is permanent, we are in constant danger, we are the first to have the sick."
