Gaza: Ministry of Agriculture has prepared an emergency plan to cope with bird flu in the event of an outbreak

Ministry of Agriculture has prepared a contingency plan to follow up on bird flu transmission and control of the Gaza Strip.
The ministry said in a press statement issued by the Government Information Office, was set up three working groups covering all areas of the Gaza Strip to combat the disease and follow-up, pointing to the difference formed in the regions of the South, Central and North, to implement the plan in collaboration with the agri-food, "FAO" in the draft called SFERA , and the teams to collect and analyze 200 to 300 samples per month for each region and analyzed in the laboratory of the Veterinary Department and the results confirmed the absence of disease in the sector.
The statement said that the draft FAO continued until 8 months of this year, pointing out that the plan, consisting of four levels of focus comes after the emergence of the disease in the kindergarten in (Binyamina) inside the Green Line.
He explained that the ministry has taken a series of actions to combat the transmission of the sector and ready to face in the event of an outbreak, pointing out that the adoption of an integrated plan to confront the disease will be carried out on four levels.
The statement said that, according to the plan, the first level on the internal situation and the ministry together to form a committee within the ministry of emergency in the full and continuing the ministry headed by Assistant Solicitor Dr. Ibrahim capacity, as well as the formation of emergency teams in the departments of Agriculture and the Director of the Veterinary Director of key members of each province in all Committees, as was the preparation of the budget of emergency to combat the disease in the event of an outbreak, noting that it decided to ban the import of all poultry and poultry products from areas where the disease is detected and each region show the injury, and tighten the control procedures and veterinary examination of the crossings.
At the project level, public relations, the statement noted that several projects have been prepared to combat bird flu and sent to the relevant organizations (such as the Red Cross, WHO, FAO and IDB) to obtain the necessary financial support for the financing is carried out, as well as coordination with relevant institutions and in particular the World Food, "FAO" in the program of bird flu.

أعدت وزارة الزراعة خطة طارئة لمتابعة مرض أنفلونزا الطيور ومكافحة انتقاله إلى قطاع غزة.<o></o>
وقالت الوزارة في بيان صحافي أصدره المكتب الإعلامي الحكومي ،أنه تم تشكيل ثلاثة فرق عمل تشمل جميع مناطق قطاع غزة لمتابعة المرض ومكافحته ،مشيرة إلى الفرق شكلت في المناطق الجنوبية والوسطي والشمالية، لتنفيذ الخطة بالتعاون مع منظمة الأغذية الزراعية "الفاو" في مشروع أطلق عليه SFERA، وتقوم هذه الفرق بجمع وتحليل من 200 إلي 300 عينة شهرياً لكل منطقة وتحليلها في مختبر البيطرة التابع للوزارة وأكدت النتائج عدم وجود مرض في القطاع.<o></o>
وذكر البيان، أن مشروع الفاو مستمر حتى شهر 8 من العام الحالي،منوهاً إلى أن الخطة المكونة من أربعة مستويات تأتي بعد ظهور بؤرة المرض في منطقة الروضة في (بنيامينا) داخل الخط الأخضر.<o></o>
وأوضح أن الوزارة اتخذت مجموعة من الإجراءات لمكافحة انتقال المرض للقطاع والإستعداد لمواجهته في حال ظهوره،مشيراً إلى انه تم إقرار خطة متكاملة لمواجهة المرض سيتم تنفيذها على أربعة مستويات.<o></o>
وقال البيان،أنه حسب الخطة فإن المستوي الأول والمتعلق بالوضع الداخلي بالوزارة شمل تشكيل لجنة طوارئ داخل الوزارة تكون في انعقاد تام ومستمر يرأسها الوكيل المساعد بالوزارة الدكتور إبراهيم القدرة ، إلي جانب تشكيل فرق طوارئ في المديريات يكون مدير الزراعة ومدير البيطرة بكل محافظة أعضاء رئيسيين في كافة اللجان، كما وتم إعداد الموازنة الطارئة لمكافحة المرض في حال ظهوره،مشيراً إلى أنه تقرر حظر استيراد جميع الطيور ومنتجاتها من المناطق التي يتم اكتشاف المرض فيها وكل منطقة تظهر بها الإصابة، وتشديد إجراءات الرقابة والفحص البيطري على المعابر.<o></o>
وعلى مستوى المشاريع والعلاقات العامة،نوه البيان أنه تم إعداد عدة مشاريع لمكافحة انفلونزا الطيور وإرسالها للمنظمات ذات العلاقة مثل (الصليب الأحمر ومنظمة الصحة العالمية والفاو والبنك الإسلامي) للحصول على الدعم المالي اللازم لتمويلها ومن تم تنفيذها، إلي جانب التنسيق مع المؤسسات ذات الصلة وعلي وجه الخصوص منظمة الأغذية العالمية "الفاو" في برنامج انفلونزا الطيور.<o></o>
أما على المستوي الإعلامي فتقرر التعميم على كافة الموظفين أصحاب الاختصاص بعدم الحديث لوسائل الإعلام عن المرض إلا من خلال الجهة المخولة في ذلك حتي لا يحدث إرباك وخوف لدي المواطنين نتيجة هذا المرض، إلي جانب إعداد نشرات توعية للمواطنين ومربيين الطيور، وكذلك تفعيل صفحة انفلونزا الطيور بموقع الوزارة علي شبكة الانترنت، ونشر البريد الالكتروني للوزارة للتجار والمزارعين والمواطنين للتواصل معهم ، إلي جانب تحديد عدة خطوط هاتفية للتواصل والتبليغ في حال ظهر أي أعراض عن المرض.<o></o>
