I wonder how much meat has gone to consumers. Turnaround time is around 3 days.<o></o>
And I wonder how many consumers know how to treat biohazard wastes in their kitchen, and clean up according to rules. Also it’s on my mind will all consumers who have handled the above batch of chicken and touched something else aware of what they have done. The fried ore cooked chicken is probably safe to eat, so they say but the utensils and other places they touched preparing the food would re infect it.
This is the controversy, Do not handle sick birds, healthy birds are safe to eat as long as you cook them right.
But if one doesn’t know they sick, normal sanitary measures in kitchens might not be enough, the wrappings are in the garbage at child and cat dog height, or outside in the bin for flies to buzz around and spread the virus. The kitchen is infected and needs a total disinfection with probably everything from fridge, freezer and pantry destroyed, following guidelines the kook and all exposed should be put on tamiflu.
