In two turkey farms in the district of Osnabr?ck, a form of bird flu has been detected.
In Lower Saxony, a mild form of bird flu has broken out. This was confirmed on Thursday the Ministry of Agriculture. Thus, it has been confirmed in two agricultural turkey farms in the district of Osnabr?ck, the avian influenza virus H7 type. The total number of turkeys in these companies must now be culled. 27,000 animals are affected by the measure. Risk to people should not exist in this mild form of avian flu.

I'm not sure H5N1 is correct. All the newspaper reports say H7.
There was H5N1 elsewhere in Germany and this is a followup-report.
