According to the Ministry of Health said Meta, Carmen Sofia Motta, the apparent cause of death of the child would be a case of pneumonia, but to rule out a possible spread of H1N1 or severe dengue, the samples were sent to the National Institutes of Health in the capital of the Republic.
The child was taken care of emergencies in the ESE Guamal last Friday, arrived in a critical condition, due to severe respiratory problems and nutrition, which killed him.
He said Secretary of Health and sanitary measures were taken in the town and found the critical situation in which the child resided, the son of a disabled woman.
