Health ministry denies swine-flu vaccine deaths

The Romanian health ministry denied today (Weds) allegations that two women had died soon after being vaccinated against swine flu.
The two alleged cases has caused controversy over use of the vaccine, which is produced by a health Institute in Bucharest.
The health ministry said a 61-year-old woman who had died in Prahova county on the night 7/ 8 January had been suffering from severe heart problems and been scheduled for heart surgery in February.
Another woman, aged 68, who died after being vaccinated on 18 November against swine flu, had a serious case of diabetes.
