Tokyo JASN .- The scientific journal ( Journal of American Society of Neprology ) revealed in its latest issue that Spanish scientists discovered a hormone that is produced in the kidney , which delays aging in people.

This is the hormone Klotho that through its expansion into various organs of the body causes the maintenance functions in perfect condition.

According to experts at the Renal Research Network (REDinREN) of the Instituto de Salud Carlos III , Ministry of Science and Innovation, patients with renal insufficiency and, therefore, a lack of this hormone suffer accelerated aging, the signs of external evidence.

For scientists, the inflammation of the kidneys may decrease by up to 90% the production of Klotho in people.
