DELAWARE COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) ? A Delaware County school is working to educate local families on the serious issue of viral meningitis after a second grader was diagnosed with the infection.

Paul Garrison, the Superintendent of Daleville Community Schools sent home a letter informing parents and caregivers that a case of viral meningitis had been reported at the school.

According to reports, a second grade student at Daleville Elementary collapsed after getting off a school bus near her home on Tuesday. She has since been admitted to the hospital to undergo treatment...
