INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Health officials are warning about possible exposure to measles in Indianapolis following a visit by a person from out of state who was confirmed to have the highly contagious disease.

The Marion County Public Health Department announced Wednesday that the person was at Microtel Inn & Suites near Indianapolis International Airport on March 18 and at Shapiro's Delicatessen in Indianapolis that same day. The department didn't say where the person was visiting from...

State health department confirms measles case in Indiana

INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) - State health officials confirm a new case of measles in northern Indiana.

They're working with local health officials in LaGrange and Steuben counties to identify anyone who may have been exposed to the infected patient to prevent it from spreading any further. They're also consulting with their counterparts in Michigan and Texas because there may be exposure in those states as well because of this same case.
