Indonesia - DKI Jarkarta H5N1 Family Cluster Timeline
A man and his younger niece or sister contracted H5N1 in DKI Jakarta in early January. Both died.

12/31/11 Sat – Puguh had fever, mom gave medicine, fever came down, next day worse
1/2/12 Mon – Puguh went to Satya Negara Hospital in Sunter, dx stomach infection and sent home
1/3/12 Tue – Puguh treated at home, didn't improve
1/4/12 Wed – Mom took him to Satya Negara again, doc said dengue and disturbance of the heart, admitted to Satya Negara, Detik chronology published on 1/9/12 said Satya Negara suspected BF today because of shortness of breath; possible onset for Adra*
1/6/12 Fri – Satya Negara tried to send Puguh to Sulianti Saroso and Persahabatan, but ICU's were full; probable onset for Adra*
1/7/12 Sat – Satya Negara sent Puguh to RSUD Tangerang, but he died on the way, Public Health went to examine contacts, found Adra with a fever (some reports said she also had cough and pilek, others said she didn't), immediately sent her to Persahabatan and started her on Tamiflu; test done today was reported negative on 1/9/12
1/8/12 Sun – Puguh buried; first media reports: named Puguh Dwi Yanto (23 M), said his smallest sibling, Soraya (5 F) was also a suspect and in isolation at Persahabatan, named mom Sriyati, 48; dad Mariono, 58, said Puguh was second oldest child of four, gave sister's full name Adra Soraya Ramadani, 5, said she was youngest child of four, and that eight close relatives are on Tamiflu
1/9/12 Mon – Berita Jakarta reported 10 contacts are being monitored, first reference to Puguh as Adra's uncle (Paman = uncle (esp. a younger brother or younger cousin of a parent).**
1/10/12 Tue – Depkes confirmed Puguh and reported Adra negative 3 tests; Vivanews quoted Persahabatan BF doc Tjatur Sagora that Adra tested negative three times and removed from isolation, but she still had fever and they didn't know why; "Tamiflu was still being given by us, on the fourth day will be stopped." Kompas reported that 53 birds in Puguh's neighborhood tested negative
1/12/12 Thu – First mention of 19-year-old, that he had contact with Puguh, and that he tested negative, he had fever, cough, and pilek, and that the 10 contacts tested negative (Media Indonesia). Menkokesra (Coordinating Ministry for the People's Welfare) first and only mention of nephew/niece 4 years old in hospital with negative test results (probably meant Adra**); Depkes said there are between 10 and 20 contacts being monitored and on Tamiflu, mention 19-year-old but not 4-year-old
1/13/12 Fri – Adra's been on Tamiflu for six days. JPNN (news site) said 19-year-old still under observation, he lived not far from Puguh, and that Adra was no longer in isolation (article published at 11:05 am). Article headline in Kelana Kota (news site) said 1 is positive, in the body of the article, Menkes talked about 2 positives spread through his kept chicken. "Menkes words that it was suspected was affected by bird flu at that time five people, evidently that was positive two people. Now was treated intensively and his condition continued to improve," said Endang Rahayu. On 1/19/12 WHO reported that Adra's condition deteriorated on this day, implying that they put her on a vent.
1/14/12 Sat – Berita Jakarta article about 300 doctors being trained, quote from Head of West Jakarta Health Sub-Department, Parwathi Mayun, “But if Tamiflu medicine turns out not working and the patient returns to same doctor, the doctor will refer the patient to referral hospitals for avian flu handling, namely Persahabatan Hospital, Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital (RSCM), and Sulianti Saroso hospital,” she explained.
1/15/12 Sun - 1/16/12 Mon – No real information published about Adra
1/17/12 Tue – Depkes posts: "Menkes Instructed the Staff to Control Bird Flu" and "Kemenkes Serious Handling the Case of Bird Flu" They've known for four days that Adra was in serious trouble and that she tested positive, and they've known for one day that she died.
1/19/12 Thu – WHO: Adra's case announced as positive, that she had breathing difficulties on 1/13/12, and died on 1/16/12. BIP Newsroom Info said Adra's onset 1/6/12, breathless on 1/13/12, "medical acts in accordance with procedures," PCR positive on 1/13/12, she died 1/16/12 around 2:00 (am or pm?).

* Okezone article said "ASR allegedly contracted the disease from PDY, after experiencing a fever since last three days." If the counting starts when the article was written, that would put onset at 1/6/12, the day before Puguh died. If the counting starts when she was admitted, onset would be 1/4/12.
