Padang ? Bird flu suspect patient, Evas (33), a resident of Taruko Kuranji, is being treated in bird flu suspect isolation unit of M Djamil hospital in Padang. Patient?s condition is improving.
Patient has been treated since 19 January 2010. He was admitted to hospital because of coughing and having runny nose within a few days after the chickens reared in his house suddenly died. He buried the dead chickens without reporting the case to Health Service.
Until now he is still under treatment and observation. Hospital is still waiting laboratory result for bird flu confirmation.
