Indore, Mar 15 (PTI) Death toll due to swine flu rose to 21 here with a woman succumbing to the deadly H1N1 virus.

Arti Raghuvanshi (21) died on March 12 while undergoing treatment at a private hospital, health department officials said today. Her swab sample report which came yesterday confirmed that she carried the H1N1 virus, they said.

She had come here from the adjoining district Khargone for treatment.

With her death, 15 women out of 21 have died so far of swine flu, the officials said.

Cases of 289 people suspected to be suffering from the disease have come to the light in the city since the outbreak of the virus. Of these, 61 have been tested positive for H1N1 virus so far, they said.

Indore, Mar 15 (PTI) One more person succumbed to swine flu in Indore today, taking the death toll due to the deadly virus in the city to 22 in the past three months, health officials said.

Subhash Chandra Goyal (58) succumbed to the H1N1 virus after battling for life in a private hospital here, they said.

Goyal, who belongs to Barwani district of the state, tested positive for the flu four days ago, the officials said.
