The influenza virus A H1N1 seems that it incorporates strength and becomes more threatening. This year we have confirmed 49 cases of this disease, was reported yesterday in HRN quoting the Health Ministry.Of this number, 20 have been registered in public care centers and 29 other private clinics.
Schools and colleges are bearing the brunt of this evil. The last count of Health indicates that only in a bilingual school in the capital were 15 cases of students infected.
In two other private schools were reported in 17 cases.
The reason that these schools have more cases could be for the "importation" of influenza.
This comes from the fact that children in bilingual schools and parents are more likely to travel abroad, and therefore are more likely to acquire infection.
Vaccination
The Health Minister Arturo Bendana, said that for the next few days the state will have 600 thousand vaccine A H1N and was implemented from 26 April.
He reminded the people that this bird should not be viewed with contempt and that it is essential to meet the recommendations for preventing infections, such as avoiding kissing hello and wash their hands constantly.
"Do not create panic, but run the preventive measures of personal hygiene," stressed the minister.
