Coronavirus in Italy, the bulletin of July 27: 246,286 positive cases and 35,112 deaths
In Italy, since the beginning of the coronavirus epidemic, at least 246,286 people (+ 170 * compared to yesterday, + 0.1%; yesterday +255) have contracted the Sars-CoV-2 virus. Of these 35,112 died (+5; yesterday +5) and 198,593 were discharged (+147, + 0.1%; yesterday +126). Currently there are 12,581 positive subjects with certainty (+16, + 0.1%; yesterday +123); the count goes up to 246,286 - as mentioned above - if there are also the dead and the cured in the calculation, that is, counting all the people who have been found positive to the virus since the beginning of the epidemic.
* Sardinia reports a recalculation on the total of cases: two positives of the Sassari area had been entered incorrectly twice, therefore the increase in cases today for the Region is zero.
There are 740 patients hospitalized with symptoms (+5, + 0.7%; yesterday +4), of which 45 (+1, + 2.3%; yesterday +3) in intensive care.
