Coronavirus in Italy, the bulletin of 27 August: 1,411 new cases and 5 deaths in the last 24 hours
In Italy, since the beginning of the coronavirus epidemic, at least 263,949 * people (+1,411 compared to yesterday, + 0.5%; yesterday +1,367) have contracted the Sars-CoV-2 virus. Of these, 35,463 died (+5; yesterday +13) and 206,554 (+225, + 0.1%; yesterday +314) were discharged. Currently the positive subjects of which we are sure are 21,932 (+1,179, + 5.6%; yesterday +1,039); the count rises to 263,949 - as mentioned above - if there are also dead and cured people in the calculation, that is, counting all the people who have been found positive for the virus since the beginning of the epidemic. The number of swabs processed in the last 24 hours is 94,024, higher than yesterday's 93,529.
There are 1,131 hospitalized patients with symptoms (+76 -0.3%; yesterday -3), of which 67 in intensive care (-2; yesterday +3).
