New death for Creutzfeldt-Jacob Disease (CJD), also known as syndrome of "mad cow": in the province of Lecce.

It is the second case in a few days, after the death of a woman, a 49-year old to Parabita, died last Saturday in casaranese hospital, where she was hospitalized on 21 July, from the emergency department with fever. Today it was confirmed by postmortem examination of brain tissue diagnosis of CJD in a man of 67 who died at the home.

The patient, with different compromised health of chronic type, had expressed about a month and a half ago appearance of memory disorders, language and disorientation space-time. The cognitive symptoms it binds a walking enlarged base with instability of the balance and hindrance locomotor, in addition to other visual disturbances.
