In Italy, first doctor died of influenza A/H1N1

ROME, Oct 27 - RIA Novosti, Sergey Startsev. In Naples Hospital Kotunov "(Cotugno) on Tuesday, died 55-year-old doctor, who was infected with influenza A/H1N1, said head physician of the clinic Mayorino Medici (Cosimo Maiorino). In mid-October in Italy, has started a national campaign of vaccination against influenza A/H1N1, which is expected to be vaccinated 40% of the population, ie 24 million people.
Vaccination will be held in two phases. First, vaccination against influenza A/H1N1 will be made by members of the health care system (doctors, medical staff, employees of territorial bodies of health) and basic public services (police, postal service, fire protection).
The second phase of vaccination is expected to begin Jan. 31, 2010. He will touch about 16 million people. In the second phase expected to be vaccinated, especially children and youths aged from two to 18 years, and if possible, and all pregnant women.
