Italy Has 1st Swine Flu Case Not Contracted in Mexico, AFP Says

May 9 (Bloomberg) -- Italy has reported its first case of
swine flu not to have been contracted in Mexico, Agence France-
Presse reported today.

Italy Swine Flu Cases Rise to Nine, With Second Local Infection

May 9 (Bloomberg) --Italy?s Health Ministry reported a
second case of swine flu not contracted in Mexico, bringing the
total number of cases in the country to nine.

A two-year old boy caught the desease from his 11-year-old
brother, who also infected their 70-year-old grandfather, the
Ministry said in an e-mailed statement today.
The boy and his grandfather are ?well,? while his 11-year-
old brother has fully recovered, according to statement.
