According the latest Italian Ministry of Health statement, Italy has an availability of around two millions of doses of monovalent pandemic H1N1 2009 virus vaccine.
This represent a 3% of Italian population, that is around 60 millions of citiziens.
Earlier, the Ministry of Health reported an amount of doses enough to immunize around the 40% of population.
The Ministry of Health said in the statement that the order for a second vaccine was done in August.
