Abstract
We conducted a retrospective review of medical records of croup patients seen during the COVID-19 pandemic. Approximately 50% underwent testing for SARS-CoV-2. During the Delta wave, 2.8% of those tested were SARS-CoV-2 positive; this increased to 48.2% during the Omicron wave, demonstrating a strong correlation between the Omicron variant and croup.
