A six-month-old baby girl died due to measles in Churunda area of Uri, 120 kms from here, last evening as she could not be taken to the Sub-district hospital on time, the officials said.

The other victim is a three-year-old Rafiq Ahmad, who died due to measles a few days earlier.

The team yesterday checked 95 suspected cases of measles, out of which 16 cases were confirmed, Saraf said.
