Bird flu fear suspends public viewing of storks
A breeding center in western Japan has temporarily suspended public viewing of endangered konotori, or oriental white storks, amid the outbreak of the bird flu in the country.
Konotori-no-Sato Park in Toyooka , Hyogo Prefecture, raises 99 white storks, 12 of which are usually kept outdoors where they can come into contact with wild birds....
