Japan's health ministry says another high school student has been infected with the new strain of flu virus - the fourth confirmed case in the country. The student is from the same school where 3 others earlier tested positive.

The ministry said on Sunday morning that tests by the National Institute of Infectious Diseases confirmed the infection of the student from Osaka, western Japan.

The student arrived at Narita Airport on Friday on a Northwest Airlines flight from Detroit after a school trip to Canada. He has been quarantined since arrival. His samples were sent for preliminary genetic testing after he developed a fever and a cough. The testing turned up positive. Two students and a teacher who were on the same school trip were earlier confirmed as Japan's first cases of the new flu.
