For persons unaccounted for in connection with the earthquake in Japan

The areas particularly affected are the Prefectures of Miyagi, Iwate, Fukushima, Tochigi and Ibaraki.

The purpose of this Family Links page is to help restore contact between separated family members.

The ICRC is managing this website in cooperation with the Japanese Red Cross and National Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies around the world.

Only the ICRC can change the information published on the website. In order to edit or to delete any information that you have recorded here, please send us an e-mail with your name and the details of your request.

If your search is not successful, do come back soon. New people are registering daily.

You will also find regular new updates on our website about what we are doing in Japan. As the situation evolves, our field teams will report back on what they have seen and what they are doing.
