Geneva, Nov. 1 (Jiji Press)--Japan has been ranked 98th in a global gender gap ranking for 2011 announced by the World Economic Forum Tuesday.

Political empowerment of Japanese women lower than world average

GENEVA (Kyodo) -- The level of political empowerment of Japanese women is more than two times lower than the world average, according to a report on gender equality released Tuesday by the World Economic Forum.
