Kyoto, Jan. 10 (Jiji Press)--A Kyoto intellectual property management firm said Tuesday it has reached an agreement with France's Vectalys SAS to grant a nonexclusive license to basic patents for induced pluripotent stem cell technologies.

KYOTO (Kyodo) -- French biotechnology company Vectalys S.A.S. has been licensed to use a patent on technology to manufacture artificially derived stem cells developed by Kyoto University, the agent that manages intellectual properties held by the university said Tuesday.
