Japan to provide 3.6 bil. yen to support nomads in Horn of Africa
NAIROBI (Kyodo) -- Japan's aid agency will launch four new foreign aid projects in the Horn of Africa from February at a cost of about 3.6 billion yen to provide medium- to long-term support for pastoral nomads in eastern Africa devastated by the worst drought in 60 years last year, agency officials said Friday.
