Two die of rat fever symptoms in Bhatkal

The victim, Nagesh Manjunath Moger (22), died on Monday morning in Kundapur hospital. His father, Manjunath Durgappa Moger (50), died on Saturday in Manipal. The blood samples of both the person were sent to the laboratory in Manipal hospital. Both were first taken to a private hospital at Kundapur, later Manjunath was taken to Manipal hospital for treatment.
Murdeshwar Medical officer of Bhatkal taluk, said results from laboratory tests were awaited.
