A young man has died of measles in Mwingi Central. The 18-year-old youth belongs to the Kavonokia sect which discourages the use of modern medicine.
"The deceased is a class seven child from the kavonokia sect. He was old enough to be in form four but he was still in standard seven. The parents' ignorance in taking their children to school is same as that of going to the hospital," said disease surveillance officer Joseph Kimwele...
