CRAB ORCHARD ? Health officials in Lincoln County are on alert after five students at Crab Orchard Elementary School have been diagnosed with chickenpox.

The students have been diagnosed with the viral infection by at least four different healthcare providers, said Eva Stone, health coordinator for Lincoln County Schools.

Some younger siblings of the students have also been diagnosed with chickenpox, but there is no official count of how many because those children are not enrolled in school, Stone said...
