Usually, if I see a mutation that I haven't seen before, I compare it on MUSCLE and your program to make sure I'm right about the position. Then I write it down and don't worry about the numbering.

I couldn't do that since all those USAF sequences were private.

N375S is in all 3 pans

segment 2 which went from birds to humans in 1957 had those 5 amino-acid differences from the
bird-index. Showing that it probably hadn't evolved for many years (~10) in poultry or mammals.

(000100) means (0,0,0,1,0,0) for the continents (1 in North America, none elsewhere)

The purpose was to decide what continent those pandemic viruses came from,
but this is not clear
