This article is over two weeks old, but I figured I'd post it for completeness. I believe it has made the error of putting all the fatalities in the village of Warud, which is incorrect.

Amravati, Sep 7 (PTI) A mysterious viral fever has reportedly claimed 18 lives in Warud tehsil of the district in the last three weeks, sources said.Doctors said blood samples of 25 to 30 patients had been sent to a laboratory in Pune and the diagnosis of the illness will be clear after report was received.Local MLA Anil Bonde said he had called a group of doctors from other areas to check and treat the patients.Bonde has arranged Rs 1 lakh to to provide medicine and other services to the patients.Health Department has assured to provide Rs 20 lakh to the Warud Hospital, the sources said.
