Maine is experiencing a record-breaking outbreak of chicken pox in the 2014-15 school year, according to the Maine Center for Disease Control, with most cases infecting unvaccinated or under-immunized children. Maine has had 84 cases so far, nearly double the number during the 2013-14 school year.
