State confirms 12 deaths, but denies outbreak

From 1 January to June 6, 2014, 132 cases of influenza (flu) were reported in Mato Grosso. Of these 24 positive for H1N1 influenza, a positive for Influenza B, a positive for influenza H3 and two Seasonal influenza cases by epidemiological criteria and others are under investigation.

15 deaths were reported, with 12 confirmed H1N1 (four in Cuiab?, one West in the Rosary, one in Lowland Grande, one in Tapurah, one in Jaciara, one in Sachse, two in Rondon?polis, one in Lucas do Rio Verde) and three cases under investigation by flu (one in Large Lowland, one in Rondon?polis one in Tabapor?).

Luverdense trucker dies in Primavera do Leste from suspected H1N1

The State Department of Health confirmed this afternoon that there were 14 deaths due to the H1N1 influenza (flu) virus in Mato Grosso between the 1st of January until now. There were four deaths in Cuiab? three in Tangara da Serra, two in Lowland Grande. Rosario Oeste, Tapurah, Jaciara, Sachse and Paranatinga there was one death in each.

Government confirms 16 deaths for the flu H1N1 in Mato Grosso this year

Woman is diagnosed with H1N1 virus in Lucas do Rio Verde

A housewife, of 41 years, a resident of Lucas do Rio Verde, in the North of Mato Grosso, was diagnosed with H1N1 virus. This was the first case recorded of the disease by the Department of Health of the municipality in 2014.
