MS has two new deaths from H1N1 confirmed by the department of Health
Mato Grosso do Sul has had two deaths from H1N1 confirmed during the last week, according to a report released on Wednesday (16) by the Secretary of State for Health (SES). As the bulletin, one of the cases was in Bela Vista and the other in Campo Grande. So far there are 422 reported cases of the disease.
Reaches 10 the number of deaths by subtype of the influenza virus in the state. Four of them were in Campo Grande, four in Corumba and one in Clear Water. The subtype H3N2 has killed four people, two of them being in the capital, one in Two Brothers of Buriti and one in Costa Rica. There was also, according to the document, 11 new confirmed cases of patients with the virus. Of these, six are with the subtype H1N1, being one in Aquidauana and five in Campo Grande. The other five had the subtype H3N2, being two in Campo Grande, a plateau in the South, one in Jaraguari and one in Rock. Campo Grande continues being the city with the highest number of cases reported, with 186. Following comes Corumba (with 79), Caarap? (30 cases), Lad?rio (17 cases), Sound (12 cases) and Chapad?o South (11 cases).
